If your Drimatt Maserati GranTurismo (GT) head unit shows the wrong units, start in Settings → Factory → 8888 → Original car set → Unit Set. The lower climate screen has its own temperature-unit selector. If the unit powers on but there is no sound after installation, check whether the two matching AMP turn-on leads are connected.
This guide applies to the upper-display menu, separate lower climate screen and supplied harness shown below. Match those details to your kit before changing settings or joining wires. Menu wording and harness revisions can differ.
| What you need to change | Where to start |
|---|---|
| Temperature, speed, distance, pressure or fuel-consumption units on the upper system | Settings → Factory → 8888 → Original car set → Unit Set |
| No sound after installation when the AMP turn-on connection is missing | The pink AMP TURN-ON lead and the black single AMP lead on the RCA harness |
| Celsius or Fahrenheit on the lower A/C screen | Press and hold the bottom-centre fan speed display to open its settings |
How to change the Maserati GT head unit units
Use the upper Android display for these settings. You do not need to change the vehicle model or CAN configuration as part of this procedure.
1. Open Settings
On the home screen, tap Settings in the left sidebar.

2. Enter Factory and the password
Tap Factory. Enter 8888 on the keypad, then tap OK. The password used on the illustrated unit is four eights.

3. Open Original car set
Choose Original car set to enter the Car settings list.

4. Find Unit Set and choose a unit
Swipe up through the list until you reach Unit Set. Tap the row you want to change and choose your preferred option.

| Label on the screen | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Temp Unit | Temperature unit |
| Speed Unit | Speed unit |
| Measure Unit | Distance unit |
| Pressure Unit | Pressure unit |
| Oil Unit | Fuel-consumption unit |
The displayed values are examples, not a required configuration for every vehicle. On this screen, Oil Unit refers to the fuel-consumption display, shown as L/100km in the example. To change the lower climate-screen temperature unit, use the separate procedure below.
No sound after installation: check the AMP turn-on connection
On some installations, the amplifier needs the supplied AMP turn-on connection. If that signal connection has been left open, the screen can power on while the amplifier remains inactive. The check below addresses that particular installation issue; it does not diagnose every possible cause of missing audio.
Switch off the ignition and disconnect vehicle power before working on the wiring. Use the supplied diagram and matching lead labels to identify the connection.
1. Locate AMP and the matching control lead
Hold the connector in the orientation shown. Find the terminal marked AMP in the lower connector block, then identify the corresponding pink AMP TURN-ON lead on the supplied harness.

2. Join the two AMP leads
Fully mate the pink AMP control-lead terminal with the matching terminal on the black single AMP lead from the RCA harness. This connection provides the +12V amplifier turn-on signal. Use the two matching leads shown; identify them by their tags and connectors as well as their colour.

Check that the connection is secure and insulated, then restore power and play audio before refitting the trim. If the sound is still absent, further diagnosis is needed. Do not keep changing unrelated factory settings or joining unidentified wires.
How to change the lower A/C screen between Celsius and Fahrenheit
The lower climate screen has its own settings menu. Use its °C/°F selector when you want to change the A/C temperature display.
1. Press and hold the fan speed display
At the bottom centre of the lower climate screen, press and hold the fan speed display until the settings screen appears. The highlighted area shows OFF in the example.

2. Find the °C/°F row
Look beneath the brightness slider for the °C/°F row. The illustrated menu also shows an Auto option.

3. Choose the unit and return
Tap the left or right arrow to select °C for Celsius or °F for Fahrenheit. Tap the return icon on the right, then check the temperature display on the climate screen.

Menu walkthrough
The menu demonstration shows the upper display's Factory and Unit Set path, followed by the lower climate-screen settings.
Actions shown: Settings → Factory → enter 8888 → Original car set → scroll to Unit Set. The final part shows a long press on the lower fan speed display and the temperature-unit selector.
Common questions
What is the Factory settings password?
The illustrated Drimatt unit uses 8888. Enter four eights and tap OK. Treat this as the password for the interface shown here, rather than a universal code for every Android head unit.
Where do I change the A/C temperature unit?
Use the lower climate screen: press and hold the bottom-centre fan speed display, find the °C/°F row and use its arrows to select a unit. The upper display has a separate Temp Unit entry under Unit Set.
Is the blue ANTENNA POWER lead the AMP connection shown here?
The illustrated AMP connection uses the pink AMP TURN-ON lead and the black single AMP lead on the RCA harness. The blue lead is labelled ANTENNA POWER. Keep those functions separate and follow the supplied labels.
Will connecting AMP fix every no-sound problem?
No. It addresses the missing amplifier turn-on connection described above. If the matching leads are already connected or the vehicle still has no sound, the cause needs to be checked before other wiring or settings are changed.
Does this procedure apply to every Maserati GT screen?
Use it when the menus, lower climate display and supplied harness match the illustrations. If your kit differs, use the instructions for that exact version.
